Although this wasn't the first snow of the season... it was Robby's first time playing in it. We had missed the first snow by a day or two and it quickly melted away. Christine was a little upset that Robby didn't get to play in it, I however was more concerned about his 'snow suit'. It's not that it's not a nice suit, or that it won't keep him warm, or even that it has Tigger on it. It's just from a male point of view, well, it's not the manliest kind of snow suit. You know, maybe some camo or carhart or the color blue! I will say that underneath Tigger, there's camo pants with a blue shirt and they don't even match! Yeah Buddy!
Back to the snow... We had about 4-8 inches that covered everything. It was a bit bright and I'm not sure Robby knew what to think. We found some 'untouched' snow near a tree and sat him down with our camera and video camera and let it roll. His first reaction, which is like most of his reactions at this point in time, was to reach straight down and grab a big handful. First with his left hand and then with his right. I thought for sure he would attempt to put it in his mouth but he just rubbed it around in his hands. And that was about it. Next year at this time, I am expecting a few sled rides, a snow man, and maybe a little bit of a snow ball fight. We'll see!P.S. Don't I have the most gorgeous wife and baby boy!?!
